In general, "compliance means conforming to a rule, policy, standard and law". Regulatory compliance describes the goals that organizations aspire to achieve in their efforts to ensure that they are aware of and take steps to comply with relevant laws, policies and regulations. Due to the increasing number of regulations the need for operational transparency of organizations are increasingly, whereby necessitate the adopting and use of consolidated and harmonized sets of compliance controls. This approach is used to ensure that all necessary governance requirements can be met without unnecessary duplication of efforts and activities from company resources. Compliance Department came into existence as a result of restructuring of Compliance Section after the decision of Board of Director (BOD). The Department headed by General Manager (Compliance) is reportable to the Managing Director of the Company.

Department core function is pre-audit activities and includes pre-audit of Imports / Local purchase orders and bills of Inland transportation, POL, Hiring of Vehicles, Medical bills, Casual Labour payments, Contractor payments, Services bills and Crop compensation etc. Coordination with the auditors of Auditor General of Pakistan and representation in DAC and Public Accounts Committee is also entrusted with the Compliance Department.
